El velorio se llevará a cabo el Lunes 1 de Mayo de 2023 a las 5:00 p. m. en Emken-Linton Funeral Home en Texas City, TX. El entierro seguirá el Martes 2 de Mayo de 2023 a las 11:00 a. m. En el cementerio católico de Mt. Olivet en Dickinson, TX.

Claudio Herrera nació el 26 de Agosto de 1961 en Cárdenas, SLP, México. Fue un amoroso padre, hijo, hermano, tío y amigo. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y hacer reír a todos. Era un hombre trabajador, que hacía todo con pasión y amor. Le gustaba escuchar música y trabajar al aire libre con la naturaleza. Claudio también disfrutaba pasar tiempo con las mascotas de la familia, incluidos sus dos perro- nietos, Jack y Coco. Era un hombre sencillo que vivía la vida al máximo con amor y alegría. En palabras de Claudio, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”

Le precedieron en la muerte su padre Jose Herrera, su madre Galdina Herrera y su hermano Homero Herrera.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen a su esposa Juana Herrera, su hijo Luis Manuel Herrera, su hija Jennifer Lynn Herrera y sus hermanos Martha Unland, Sara Bazan, Jose Herrera, y Jesus Herrera.

Claudio Herrera, age 61, passed away on Monday April 24, 2023, at HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland. He passed peacefully surrounded by all his family.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 1, 2023, at 5:00PM at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, TX. Burial will follow on Tuesday May 2, 2023, at 11:00AM at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, TX.

Claudio Herrera was born on August 26, 1961, in Cardenas, SLP, Mexico. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to spend time with his family and make everybody laugh. He was a hardworking man, who did everything with passion and love. He enjoyed listening to music and working outside with nature. Claudio also enjoyed spending time with the family pets, including his two grand-dogs Jack and Coco. He was a simple man who lived life to the fullest with love and joy. In words of Claudio, “don’t worry, be happy.”

He is preceded in death by his Father Jose Herrera, Mother Galdina Herrera, and Brother Homero Herrera.

Survivors include wife Juana Herrera, son Luis Manuel Herrera, daughter Jennifer Lynn Herrera, and siblings Martha Unland, Sara Bazan, Jose Herrera, and Jesus Herrera.
