Carlo Quaglia, 73, of Bacliff passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at home in his wife’s arms after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church in League City.  Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Carlo was born in Genoa, Italy on July 2, 1946. Carlo worked as a Chief Engineer at Carnival Cruise Lines prior to his retirement. Carlo was an avid hunter. He inherited his love of hunting from his grandfather.

Carlo is preceded in death by his father, Andrea Quaglia and his mother, Maria Astori Quaglia.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Mary Quaglia; son, Andrew Quaglia and his wife Carloanne and grandchildren, Anthony and Angelina; son, Alessandro Quaglia and his wife Maxine, and grandchildren Ricco and Carmella.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of your choice.
