Albert Pacheco, Sr.

Albert Joseph Pacheco Sr., of Texas City, Texas, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 75.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 with a visitation from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Casual attire is preferred.

Albert was born in Berkeley, California. He had a kind soul, giving heart, and never met a stranger. His whole life was spent making sure everyone was taken care of. He loved his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He was a Christian and touched many people throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Bonnie Helen and Harold George Pacheco; and brother, Phillip Pacheco.

Survivors include his sons, Albert Joseph Pacheco III and wife Courtney Pacheco of Texas City, Texas, Albert Joseph Pacheco Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Allen Pacheco of Atlanta, Georgia, Christopher Troy and wife Jennifer Pacheco of Pearland, Texas, and Freddie Schmidt of League City, Texas and daughter, Alena Pacheco of Atlanta, Georgia; significant other, Ann McCain of Texas City, Texas; sisters, Cheryl Lloyd and husband Bruce Mayhue of Palatka, Florida, and Penny Lee Gilmore of Rye, Texas; step-children, Chris McCain, Steven and Carolyn Bullard; and grandchildren and great grandchildren too numerous to mention. He loved them all.

Albert loved singing and anything outdoors from BBQ’ing, fishing, hunting and camping. Albert was a loving father, wonderful grandpa, and hard worker that loved working with his hands, A.K.A “jack of all trades”. He will be greatly missed, not only by his family, but by all that knew him.
