Steven Barksdale, 53, of Texas City, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Triumph Hospital of Clearlake.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial followed at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
Mr. Barksdale was born February 23, 1957 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a lawn maintenance supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Charla Barksdale.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Lesta Barksdale, of Texas City; son Patrik Barksdale; daughters Brandi and Kandice Barksdale; brothers Russ and John Barksdale; numerous other relatives and friends.
