Mary Gomez

Mary Gomez, 85, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Mainland Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 26, at the La Marque Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 pm until 8 pm, Sunday, July 25, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gomez was born May 30, 1925 in Pt. Arthur, Texas. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her daughters Dorothy Ozuna and Diane Gomez.

Survivors include her daughters: Mary Jane Gonzales, Jo Ann Galvan, Lucy Gomez, Delia Gomez, and Stella Roberts; sons: Felix Gomez, Ricky Gomez, Tony Gomez, Lawrence Gomez, and Louis Gomez; sisters Nena Miranda and Ophelia Hooper; 41 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
