Scott Walker

Scott, a native of Texas City, is a  Funeral Director/Embalmer.  He was born in 1962 to Dixie and Mary Jane Walker.  He graduated in 1980 from Texas City High School, then  Commonwealth College of Mortuary Science in Houston.   Scott began working for Emken-Linton Funeral Home in 1978 while still in high school.   There is a long history of  funeral service in his family.  His grandparents and great-grandparents owned a funeral home in West Virginia and other relatives had been in the funeral business as well.  He currently lives in League City with his wife, Rita, and has three children Brittany, Chelsea and Coby. Scott’s interests include the outdoors, camping, and motorcycling.  He is a dedicated volunteer, lifetime member, and captain with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
